MEN BUYING TIGHTS SURVEY: WHICH HOSIERY BRANDS HAVE TRIED TO BE GENDER INCLUSIVE?

We are now analysing more of the responses to our recent MEN BUYING TIGHTS survey.

The survey asked this question:

In your experience, are there any hosiery brands that have made an effort to be inclusive in some way towards male customers? Which brands are they and what have they done that has been positive?

We are going to publish two posts on this, and here is the first. It's a Word Cloud based on the frequency of a brand being identified.

So more a brand was mentioned, the bigger its name will appear in the World Cloud.

Essentially the Word Cloud represents recognition of hosiery brands that have made efforts to be gender inclusive, through their ethos, brand image, social media content, website information, products and other strategies.

So to put it simply: the more a brand is recognised for gender inclusivity the more it will stand out in the Word Cloud.

One brand really stands out here: Wolford.

In our next post we will share feedback from the survey on what respondents have identified about Wolford that has helped them to achieve this ranking.

Other brands that get a high level of recognition for gender inclusion are:

I See Your Legs

Glamory

Adrian

Activskin

Heist

Emilio Cavallini

Stay tuned for more data and other useful findings.

  2. I would think Glamory would be bigger. Look at every hosiery retailer uk site. If theres a tights for men section, theyre the mens branded tights you always see. Hopefully they will soon be joined by many more men branded tights.

  3. Nice. Not only hosiery manufacturers should make tights for men from the basic ones, but also the colorful ones, as well as making several TV commercials about men in tights. Shame there are fewer TV commercial about men in tights. I still don't get it.
