Just arrived: Lida Man's World 100 denier opaque men's tights

I have just taken delivery of a package from Poland with a sample of the Man's World 100 denier opaque men's tights.

I will review these tights soon.

  1. That's interesting; that model has been around for years and is now discontinued; we have stocked them since August 2005, and are currently considering buying up all the remaining stock from Lida, but we still have stock on the shelves now. I wouldn't think it was worthwhile reviewing them now; they won't be around much longer.

  2. Well if you still have them in stock and secure further remaining stock I would have thought a positive review might assist you in selling them. I guess the blog readers will judge if the review I will write shortly is helpful to them. Lida were happy to send me a sample for review so they must have thought that was worthwhile.

  3. You may be right, but they have always been a consistent, of not earth-shattering, seller. But the problem might come in generating interest in an item which is on the way out, and disappointing potential purchasers who then find it is no longer available.

Other similar items which are still available include the new Adrian 'City' (which is selling by the bucket-load), the Aries Micro 60, the Doyeah 0858 and 0898, the ELA Patrik and Adam and the TIM Denim.

  4. Good to know the ADRIAN tights are selling well. I am happy to do reviews and features on any of the other brands you mention and link to Legwear4Men.

  5. Some years ago I bought a few pairs of LIDA mens P/hose. They were OK apart from the fly being halfway across the world and difficult to access when needed. A few weeks ago I bought another pair of the same pantyhose, colour, size, 100 denier, etc. I found the hosiery to be entirely different, i.e. lighter than what I remember, and sharp cutting seam around the fly even though it was slightly more accessible (larger). I have hosiery that is 70 & 80 denier that is heavier in construction and more opaque. I'm not surprised LIDA are being discontinued ---- the sooner the better. I wont be buying any more of them. I still have an old pair of the LIDA I bought years ago, though tatty are still good enough for a comparison. There are a number of other brands on the market that have the fly in the right place and are more comfortable to wear.
