Around 900 pairs of tights are produced every week from the Courtaulds factory based in Belper, Derbyshire, for the well-known brands, Pretty Polly, Aristoc and House of Holland.

The whole process to produce a pair of tights from start to finish takes approximately 4-5 weeks with about four hours of manufacturing going into each individual pair of tights

I think somebody has misread some figures there!

I hope they make more than 900 pairs a week, that would mean each pair would weigh about 240Kg! try hitching those up all day!
